blog

I decided to rebuild my portfolio for the 4TH time. As I’m building, I’m gaining more clarity on what I want. The theme for my home/about page will be a scrapbook. This feels so me. I love sharing memories, quotes, learnings and I can express myself visually with freedom and keep things warm with personality while being original and creative. I absolutely loved scrapbooking when I was young and still journal now so this felt like the perfect way for my originality to shine through :)

inspo

  • dotted background
  • paper like textures (ripped paper, sticky notes)
  • handwritten font accents
  • polaroid style photos
  • tape, pins, and paper clips for socials
  • tech stack as stamps or stickers

Home / About

I want my home / about to serve as the same page, and first page the user sees. Right off the bat, the user should be able to gain an understanding of who I am. Starting with

  • name
  • quick intro
  • timelapse of journey (maybe a flip book of every job i’ve had)
  • community involvement (photos from conferences)
  • tech stack
  • socials / where to find or contact me
  • glimpse of projects (shown as cards) maybe with a “thumbnail title”

Projects

A collection of all the cool projects I’ve worked on and volunteer experience I’ve been a part of

Writings

This is where I will blog / write my learning journeys, conference experiences, personal stories like buying a home and that process (so I can guide others to it), recipes. The design inspo for this will be like flipping through a newspaper / magazine. I want this page to be more artistic but simple at the same time.

My Hub

The masonry layout is inspired by Pinterest. This page serves as a collection of my life with filters from home, recipes, products I love. This is where I will add photos of products I used along with Amazon affiliate links, foods I’ve made w the recipe attached, places I’ve eaten and love - linking the Instagram/location and my review of it. Just a cool way to showcase these collections that are a part of me.

Hidden page of shortcut links that people usually ask me for.

We’ve come a long way…
